We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help shape the future of data-driven transformation for our clients. In this role as a senior data engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while collaborating with data analysts to understand their requirements. You will implement data integration solutions to support various business needs, ensuring data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation. Additionally, you will optimise data systems for both performance and scalability.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

* Experience with the Azure Intelligent Data Platform, including Data Lakes, Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Power BI.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
* Proficiency in SQL and Python.
* Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
* Ability to work with large datasets and optimise data systems for performance and scalability.
* Experience working with JSON, CSV, XML, Open API, RESTful API integration and OData v4.0

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer using relevant tech stack required
* Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
* Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Interview Process

Once you are successfully selected for interview a dedicated talent acquisition manager will reach out and arrange a short pre-screening call. We want to learn more about you and the experience you can bring to the position. The interview process will have 2-3 stages and we will work around your availability. You will the opportunity to talk with our recruitment team at various points throughout the process. All interview stages will be conducted remotely via video calls and arranged at a time that fits with your schedule. We will close the position once the role is filled.
