Role Overview
They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and expand their sales function within a technical, fast‑growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and developing a high‑performing sales team focused on selling technical solutions.
* Designing and delivering sales strategies to expand market presence across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
* Building strong relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and senior leadership stakeholders.
* Working with in‑house engineers to turn customer concepts into fully delivered solutions.
* Managing the tendering and quotation process from initial enquiry through to negotiation and contract completion.
* Overseeing forecasting, pipeline management, and sales budgeting.
* Representing the organisation at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
* Coaching and mentoring the sales team to meet and exceed commercial targets.

Experience & Skills

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Leadership experience in managing, developing, and motivating teams.
* CRM/ERP proficiency is advantageous.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or CI principles is a plus.
