We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to spearhead our life science project in County Galway. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance to the project team, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective problem-solving
* Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
* Perform thorough technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
* Implement QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI's, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
* Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
* Monitor and record materials, plant, and logistics, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste
Requirements:
* Relevant third-level degree
* 6+ years' experience in civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, utilities, and site development works
* Prior experience working with GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment
* Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, and Microsoft Package
