Planning Executive A leading public sector organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Planning Executive to join its Corporate Strategy and Planning Division. This role is vital in delivering high-quality monitoring, evaluation, and strategic support across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Section Manager (Monitoring & Evaluation) to provide robust data analysis, support strategic implementation, and contribute to national-level research initiatives. Location: Dublin Salary: €51,511 Contract:Full-time, permanent Organisation Type: Public Sector Organisation Key Responsibilities: Support the implementation of the organisations 20252029 strategy and report progress to senior leadership. Manage the delivery and continuous improvement of key national surveys including the Annual Employment Survey and the Annual Business Survey of Economic Impact (ABSEI). Contribute to high-quality research, economic analysis, and strategic policy development. Produce key documents such as investment briefs and economic fact sheets. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including cross-agency groups. Conduct risk analysis using internal data systems including Salesforce and the Client Development Process (CDC). Respond efficiently to information requests from senior executives and third parties. Assist in optimising data usage and support digital transformation in collaboration with IT. Commit to continuous professional development and embody public service values. Essential Requirements: A minimum of a Level 8 degree (or equivalent) on the National Framework of Qualifications. Proven experience in a relevant business or analytical role. Strong numerical and data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI and Salesforce is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and strong project management capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, and to work outside standard hours when required. Full driving licence is preferred.
