QC Lab Assistant - Cork
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of the QC laboratory as required by Good Manufacturing practices (GMP's).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Perform scheduled maintenance activities on laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
* Document all cleaning and maintenance activities accurately in logs and reports.
* Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GDP).
* Support laboratory personnel with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Analytical instrument qualification, as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Completed Ordinary Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific discipline
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Good understanding of laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
* Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Maintain a focus on patients and customers at all times.
