Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless production line operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Fault Identification and Resolution: Swiftly respond to equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime, thereby maximizing operational efficiency.
* Proactive Maintenance Strategies: Implement scheduled maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability, reducing the likelihood of unforeseen breakdowns.
* Compliance and Safety Protocols: Adhere to company policies, including adherence to food safety and health & safety standards, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel.
* Work Order Management: Accurately record work activities and manage inventory using our comprehensive maintenance management system, facilitating efficient task execution.
* Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives that benefit the organization as a whole.
* Problem Solving and Analysis: Diagnose faults and develop effective solutions to maintain production flow, minimizing disruptions and optimizing overall performance.
* Task Execution and Reporting: Complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining accurate records of work completed.
Essential Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, National Craft Certificate or equivalent.
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment.
Desirable Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
