Job Advert: Senior Bar Supervisor – Full-Time Position at McGrath's Pub in Drumcondra, Dublin
Are you an experienced bartender with a passion for exceptional service and a love for community? Our family-run McGrath's pub in Drumcondra, Dublin, is searching for a Senior Bartender to join our small, close-knit team on a full-time basis. Ideal candidate will require a minimum of 3 years of bar experience..
Our pub is well-located with plenty of public transport options available, including Dublin bus, night buses and train services making it easy for you to get to and from work.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, particularly during the high-energy match days.
· Manage the keg cellar, including stock rotation.
· Handle daily cashing up and reconciliation with precision and accountability.
· Serve a variety of drinks, maintaining excellent presentation and quality.
· Create a warm, friendly environment for customers while delivering outstanding customer service.· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area in line with health and safety standards.
· Assist in stock ordering and managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or wastage.
· Support management in training new staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team spirit.
What You'll Bring:
· At least 3 years of bar experience.
· Hands-on knowledge of keg cellar management and stock rotation, ensuring drink quality and consistency.
· Proven experience in handling cash and cashing up accurately.
· Confidence and efficiency during busy periods, such as GAA match days.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· A customer-first mindset and the ability to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
