Position: Food & Beverage Duty ManagerReporting to: General ManagerCrown Quarter are seeking an experienced and energetic Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our vibrant and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences across both food and beverage operations.The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing the smooth running of operations. This role requires full flexibility, with availability for both daytime and evening/late-night shifts, including weekends.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless coordination between bar and floor teams.Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation, and operational efficiency at all times.Lead service during busy periods, supporting both restaurant and bar operations as required.Team Leadership & SupportSupervise, manage, motivate, and support team members.Provide on-shift coaching and guidance to ensure a positive, productive work environment.Assist in training new team members in service standards, operational procedures, and guest service excellence.Guest ExperienceEnsure every guest receives exceptional service, whether dining or enjoying drinks.Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring swift resolution.Service & Operational StandardsEnsure consistency in all service standards.Monitor food quality, beverage presentation, and overall guest satisfaction during service.Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth communication and timely service flow.Health, Safety & ComplianceUphold all health, safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards across food and beverage areas.Ensure that all team members adhere to all legal requirements, including licensing laws and food safety regulations.Cash Handling & AdministrationOversee end-of-shift cashing up, financial reconciliation, and reporting.Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.CommunicationCommunicate clearly and effectively across departments, ensuring all teams are informed and aligned.Candidate RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role, ideally within a combined food and beverage environment.Food & Beverage Knowledge: Strong understanding of operations, and guest service standards.Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and support diverse teams in a busy environment.Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Organisation: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Flexibility: Must be available for day shifts, evening shifts, late nights, and weekendsWhy Work With Us?As part of the Crown Quarter team, you'll enjoy:Meals on dutyDiscounted accommodation rates in our sister hotelsOngoing training and professional developmentCompany events and team engagement activitiesChristmas Savings Scheme
