Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently hiring a Junior Purchasing Assistant on behalf of our client, an established company within the healthcare sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Co. Kerry. This position will offer a hybrid working model with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
Role:
* Responsible for placing stock and spare parts orders with suppliers.
* Setting up new suppliers on the ERP planning system.
* Responsible for optimising stock levels to meet customer demand.
* Management of new suppliers into the supply chain process.
* Review stock regularly to meet any changing requirements with the customer.
* Handling of all supplier issues
* Invoice processing.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar purchasing related position.
* Previous experience/knowledge of an ERP type planning system.
* Knowledge of inventory management.
* Experience of invoice processing.
* Excellent communication skills
* Have the ability to use your own initiative.
