Area Manager - Civil Engineering Solutions (Infrastructure & Commercial) Territory: Republic of Ireland (Home-Based / Field Role) Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 + Uncapped Commission (OTE €100 K+) | Car Allowance | Healthcare | Pension | 25 Days Leave THE COMPANY: Our client is a high-growth, specialist engineering manufacturer, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the civil engineering and infrastructure sectors. With a strong track record across major infrastructure projects and commercial environments, they are recognised for their advanced, non-disruptive technologies and ability to solve complex ground engineering challenges. Following significant growth and ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking to appoint an Area Manager to drive further development across Ireland. THE ROLE: This is a technical, solution-led sales role, focused on winning new business and developing long-term relationships across infrastructure and commercial markets. You will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including consulting engineers, main contractors, asset owners, local authorities and infrastructure clients, identifying opportunities and developing tailored engineering solutions. The role is heavily focused on new business in the first 12-18 months, building your pipeline and establishing the brand across the Irish market, before evolving into a more balanced account management position. Key responsibilities include: * Identifying and developing new project opportunities across civil and infrastructure sectors * Conducting site visits, surveys and client meetings (both in-person and virtual) * Working closely with internal engineering teams to design and propose technical solutions * Preparing detailed quotations, proposals and commercial agreements * Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to project delivery * Building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the industry * Supporting project delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes and repeat business You will have strong internal support from technical and operations teams, as well as structured training to develop both your commercial and technical expertise. THE PERSON: We are looking for a technically strong, commercially driven individual with experience in the Irish construction or civil engineering sector. The ideal candidate will have: * A Civil Engineering (or related) degree and sales experience, OR * Extensive experience selling into the civil construction / infrastructure sector in Ireland * A strong understanding of groundworks, geotechnical or structural solutions * Proven ability to win new business and manage complex, solution-based sales cycles * Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, and infrastructure clients * Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills * A proactive, target-driven mindset with a focus on growth This role will suit someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, autonomy and building a market from the ground up.
