We are looking for an experienced General Debt Recovery Legal Executive to join our very busy and friendly Asset & Debt Recovery Team, based in Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
* Taking instructions from clients
* Drafting proceedings
* Service of proceedings
* Instructing summons servers and tracing agents
* Drafting motions
* Briefing counsel to include preparation of briefs
* Dealing with incoming correspondence from agents, solicitors and defendants
* Liaising with clients over court outcome and next steps
* Liaising with court services
* Dealing with incoming telephone calls from agents, solicitors and defendants
* Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data
* Contributing to departmental monthly target
Key Skills & Experience:
* The ideal candidate should have one to three years of experience working in a law firm in the area of General Debt Recovery
* Previous experience in General Debt is a must
* Calm, professional and approachable manner
* Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
* Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Please note that this role is for a Legal Executive, FE-1 candidates will not be considered
