CGN Europe Energy Ireland Limited is currently looking for a general accountant to join the finance team in Dublin. You will be responsible for our Republic of Ireland portfolio.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of corporate tax computations and support timely filing with tax authoritiesSupport the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulationsHelp maintain tax records and documentation in line with complianceProvide support during month-end and year-end close, including assisting with tax-related calculations and accounting recordsAssist in reviewing general ledger entries and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy from a tax perspectiveWork with senior team members to support statutory audits and tax compliance processesComprehensive tax report/tax compliance report on regular basisResponsible for reviewing the accounting in UPM, bank reconciliations and preparing cashflow managementOwnership of entity related paymentSupport the preparation of basic financial analysis, including variance analysis and budget inputContribute to improving processes and documentation within the tax and finance functionProfileBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or any related disciplineACCA or ACA qualified preferred but not necessaryOrganisation and multi-taskingStrong communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, excel-based analysisFluent in English, Chinese is nice to have
