Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our client-side project management team on an extensive capital works programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in the delivery of our projects.
Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the client's interests on its Capital Major and Minor works and Maintenance programmes. This will involve providing expert advice in the resolution of issues, optimising the existing estate value, and delivering best value for money.
* Manage and monitor both the construction programme and cost plan with a view to minimising the impact of any variations to the project.
* Keep the project stakeholders informed of progress, cost, and any other relevant issues.
* Oversee the tender and contractor/consultant appointment process.
* Chair and minute project review meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Level 8 degree in Engineering or Construction related field.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering, preferably with a contractor or consulting engineers.
* Knowledge of current construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
* A proven track record of seeing projects through to their successful completion.
* A current driving licence and vehicle.
