Job Role: Deputy Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing effective management support to the Childcare Manager, combining practitioner and management responsibilities.
* The role requires a strong understanding of regulatory and practice requirements in sessional preschool and after-school settings.
* You will lead and manage staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Foster strong relationships with parents, engaging them in their child's education and care.
* Utilize the National Child Safeguarding and Welfare Services portal to ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
* Demonstrate experience working with both preschool and school-aged children.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional supervisory skills, the ability to engage with parents, and adherence to our policies and procedures. A clear understanding of health and safety aspects is crucial.

Requirements:
* A minimum qualification at QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.
* Previous relevant experience in the outlined areas.
* Management experience is essential.
