Temple Recruitment is looking for Warehouse SUPERVISOR for our client in Dublin .
Warehouse Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including trailer services, and logistics, fostering a positive, productive and safety conscious work environment.
Job Description
· Operations: ensuring the smooth running of operations through:
o Adequate planning and delegation of tasks to operatives,
o Providing leadership and support to warehouse team,
o Creating shift plans and ensuring cover for holidays, training days, etc.
o Operation of forklifts and equipment as is necessary.
Health and safety:
o Ensuring all reports are acting in line with health and safety policy,
o Keeping accurate records of any incidents, and ensuring all incidents are correctly reported and followed up on,
o Ensuring training certificates are in-date and liaising with HR to organise refresher training.
o Correcting unsafe behaviour through leading by example, toolbox talks, and training.
Training and development:
o Complete all training as is required by the company.
o Ensure all reports complete training using internal systems.
Quality Assurance:
o Adherence to SOPs, and ensuring the same from direct reports,
o Completion of non-conformance reports, and CA/Pas, where necessary,
o Collaborate with the Quality Department during audits,
o Maintain accurate records of data as will be requested by the Business Unit Director.
· Fostering positive relationships with other personnel and departments in the company.
· Any additional duties as required by the manager.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / FURTHER EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Counterbalance license required.
· Valid PPT license required.
· Valid Reach Truck license preferred.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· 2 years' experience in a similar role
· Strong knowledge of health and safety, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility with work hours.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
PAY- 35-37K PA.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
Saturday- OT pay.
