Job Title:
A Senior Project Manager is required to lead a programme focused on replacing the current financial systems.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have recent hands-on involvement in the delivery of an Enterprise Level Financial Information Systems (FIS). The role requires onsite presence at the organisation's offices in Co. Kildare 2 and occasionally 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead implementation of Financial Information Systems and related projects within a structured project management lifecycle methodology, ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards.
* Define project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and milestones with clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
* Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams, providing leadership, coordination, and project tracking to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
* Apply change management best practices to support organisational readiness and adoption of new systems and processes.
Essential Candidate Requirements:
* A minimum of five years' experience in a Project Management role, including recent hands-on experience with Financial Information Systems implementation.
* A degree, postgraduate qualification or other valid certification in a Business or Finance related discipline.
* Project Management Certification - PMP, Prince 2.
* Previous experience working with a financial services or banking organisation.
* Strong command of project governance, risk management, and change management methodologies.
Additional Requirements:
* Experience managing matrixed project teams and working in hybrid work environments.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of engaging both technical and business audiences.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
