Opportunity for a Production Operator to join a mission driven Medical Device organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join fast-growing team working on a Class III implantable medical device.
The Role
As a Manufacturing Production Operator, you will be responsible for assembling a highly precise, sterile implantable sensor using very small components. Quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are critical in this role.
Work is carried out by strictly following detailed assembly procedures, often using microscopes, and includes assembly, packaging, and shipping of finished product. This role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract and reports to the Senior Line Lead.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and package medical device products in cleanroom and non-cleanroom ESD environments
* Follow cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
* Maintain accurate, legible production records and documentation
* Support engineering and technicians with troubleshooting production issues
* Engage with the Quality Management System (QMS) to support overall quality objectives
* Operate, maintain, and assist with upkeep of manufacturing equipment and tools
* Provide feedback to support continuous improvement of processes and documentation
* Carry out additional assembly or production support duties as required
Qualifications
* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
* Excellent (corrected) vision, including depth perception
* Comfortable working with microscopes
* Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
* Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
* Good verbal communication skills
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet daily production goals
Nice to Have
* Experience in a highly regulated environment (medical devices, pharma, etc.)
* Cleanroom manufacturing experience
