The firm works on large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects for both private and public sector clients, and is now expanding its transport capability with a strategic senior hire.Your new roleAs a Senior Traffic & Roads Engineer, you will take the lead on the design and delivery of traffic engineering, road design, and mobility planning projects. You’ll manage everything from feasibility through to construction, including traffic impact assessments, mobility plans, and stakeholder engagement. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with Irish transport standards.What you'll need to succeedA Level 8+ Honours Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving it).10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 in an Irish consultancy.Strong knowledge of Irish road and traffic design standards (TII, DMURS, NTA).Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D a plus) and traffic modelling tools (e.g. Picady, Arcady, Oscady, Transyt).Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams and liaise with clients and authorities.A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for mentoring and technical leadership.What you'll get in returnSalary: €65,000 – €75,000, depending on experience.A strategic leadership opportunity within a respected and growing consultancy.The chance to shape transport engineering capabilities and mentor the next generation of engineers.A collaborative, multidisciplinary work environment in a central Dublin location.Competitive benefits package and support for ongoing professional development.
