Maintenance/Facilities technician.
As a
Maintenance / Facility Technician
, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Using our Asset Management System (Maximo), you will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and complete repairs to minimize downtime and maintain high operational standards.
You will work collaboratively with production, engineering, and safety teams to enhance equipment reliability, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency, productivity, and long-term success of the manufacturing site.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform all maintenance, repair, and rebuild tasks on machinery and facility infrastructure.
* Maintain all equipment and machinery within the company's manufacturing facility to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and replace worn or faulty parts.
* Respond promptly to repair requests to minimize production downtime and prevent revenue loss.
* Maintain detailed maintenance reports and records for all repair and service activities.
* Work on-site within the factory to perform hands-on maintenance and repair tasks.
* Enhance and optimize existing machinery to improve efficiency and reliability.
* Manage and maintain the inventory of tools and spare parts, placing orders for replacements as needed.
* Work on a two-cycle shift schedule, with future transition to a four-cycle shift system.
Educational Qualification Needed for A Maintenance Technician
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
* Experience in the field expanding up to at least two years.
* Knowledge of Maximo – Asset Management system or equivalent would be an advantage. This is not a requirement as full training will be available on site.
