The Workplace Health & Safety Technician will play a critical role in supporting operational teams onsite, identifying and coordinating improvements in safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with risk assessments and follow-up control measures to completion.
* Advise associates and managers on company procedures and legal requirements within their level of knowledge.
* Monitor compliance to safety procedures and investigate incidents to establish root cause and develop action plans.
* Update internal records regarding incidents, near misses, and accidents.
* Collate and produce weekly safety reports as required.
* Attend health and safety meetings and undertake projects to identify hazards and risks.
* Maintain confidentiality in matters involving safety investigations and monitor safety procedures to ensure compliance.
A Day in the Life
This role requires flexibility to work non-traditional hours and weekends. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in occupational safety or equivalent qualification.
* Experience running metrics reports and analyzing data to identify problems and root causes.
* Knowledge of UK Health & Safety Legislation and pertinent regulations.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and procedures.
* Excellent attention-to-detail and ability to work at all levels, coaching and mentoring others.
