Warehouse Administrator Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing inventory transactions in an ERP system and strong numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and verify incoming materials, including inventory deliveries from other company sites.
2. Manage receipt of non-inventory kanban materials, packaging, chemicals, and consumables from external vendors. Accurately record transactions using the kanban system and issue consumables to the team.
3. Enter receipt information into the company's ERP and inventory management system.
4. Prepare, label, and verify products for shipping to customers. Ensure accuracy of documentation and liaise with internal sales/planning teams to resolve any issues.
5. Coordinate with internal planning team to meet weekly shipment targets and address related issues.
6. Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy between the system records and physical inventory.
7. Collaborate with internal sales to resolve receiving, shipping, inventory, or documentation issues affecting customer service.
8. Coordinate with freight services for efficient and cost-effective product transportation.
9. Communicate import customs clearance instructions to courier companies via email.
10. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
11. Adhere to the company Health and Safety Manual, including proper use of personal protective equipment and immediate reporting of safety concerns.
12. Perform other duties within the logistics team's scope as required.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Strong numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Previous experience managing inventory transactions in an ERP system.
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
