We are looking for a Head Pizza Chef to join our busy kitchen and make take responsibility for an entire station that makes great Neapolitan pizzas.Head Pizza Chef responsibilities will include overseeing the management of dough, preparing toppings, opening dough balls, output from our pizza oven (Izzo Forni 6 electric oven) and finishing pizzas. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Neapolitan pizza, be available to work 5 days in 7 and be a focused, hard-worker with big ambitions.Ultimately, you will help us to do what we do...consistently serve great pizzas, with excellent toppings on amazing bases.ResponsibilitiesPrepare dough (make, ball, proof, open etc)Make fresh saucesWash and chop vegetablesCut, slice and prep meatsBake pizzasMonitor food stock and place orders, as neededRecommend new recipes to update our menuMaintain a clean cooking station and sterile equipmentAssist with HACCPWork alongside a strong and hardworking team across all stationsAt least 2 years experience as a Pizza ChefHands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughFamiliarity with professional kitchen equipment and electric pizza ovensUnderstanding of food hygieneGood time-management skillsTeam spiritFlexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.Salary listed is a starting salary, but we are looking for someone with a proven track records in pizza and will pay DOE.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €16.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFood allowanceSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Athlone, CO.
