There is currently one permanent & whole-time vacancy available in HSE Procurement Logistics Team, Galway University Hospitals
HSE Procurement provides a range of specialist procurement services including; Strategic Sourcing; Procurement Planning and Compliance Improvement; Logistics and Inventory Management; and Procurement Business Support.
The National Logistics & Inventory Management Service operates a dispersed model with the National Distribution Centre based in Tullamore and 9 regional hubs in Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Galway, Sligo, Letterkenny, Tullamore, Drogheda and Dublin. The Logistics service also operates in a number of hospital & community locations nationwide.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Applicants should have experience of:
* Applying a project management approach that delivered results in a logistics/procurement setting.
* Nurturing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Working with ICT Procurement Systems.
* Data/Expenditure analysis including report generation and the production of metrics / KPI's.
* Evaluation group management; team supervision or people management.
