Group Sales Director Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to spearhead the commercial strategy for our luxury hotel group in Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in revenue growth, market expansion, and team leadership.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with business goals
* Lead and support on-property sales teams across various segments
* Drive business development in domestic and international markets
* Set annual budgets, KPIs, and provide monthly performance reports
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Leadership
* Develop and execute a group-wide commercial strategy aligned to growth and rebranding goals
* Lead, coach, and support all on-property sales teams across rooms, M&E, weddings, corporate, leisure, and F&B
Brand Revitalization:
* Partner with marketing and PR teams to deliver the rebranding project
* Ensure unified brand messaging, guest communication, and consistent standards across the group
Strategic Partnerships & Market Engagement:
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with industry stakeholders
* Represent the group at national and international events
Collaboration & Leadership:
* Collaborate closely with Directors of Sales, GMs, Revenue Managers, and Marketing teams
* Provide leadership and development to hotel-based sales managers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum 8 years of senior sales leadership experience in hospitality
* Proven track record in revenue growth, commercial strategy, and market expansion
* Deep understanding of the Irish tourism landscape and industry ecosystem
Key Performance Indicators:
* Achievement of annual revenue targets across all segments
* Growth in RevPAR index, ADR, occupancy, and M&E revenue
