Director, Global Product Management, Credit Risk Innovation
About This Role
The Advanced Analytics team drives Credit Risk solutions and products at a globally scalable level, providing value to the various parts of the credit lifecycle value chain. Developing relevant solutions that solve customer credit risk while leveraging Mastercard assets is key to growing revenue for retail and commercial clients.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Find new product opportunities to grow the credit risk portfolio and enhance the GTM of current product sets.
2. Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
3. Leverage the Studio framework to manage the delivery of ongoing innovation and enhancements to focus Products, ensuring they are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation.
4. Demonstrate depth of knowledge of your Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g., regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment).
5. Apply this knowledge to develop winning Product strategies and demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering.
6. Drive the delivery of key product enhancements and partner with Guild members to deliver.
7. Understand the Software Development Lifecycle and manage barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget in partnership with the Product Management-Technical Guild.
8. Leverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges and create proactive plans to drive usage and revenues.
9. Lead cross-functional teams in the development of business requirements to achieve Product objectives.
10. Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and partners to grow individual functional skills.
11. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge.
Requirements:
1. Deep understanding of the credit risk ecosystem, current market pain points, opportunities, and emerging technologies and trends.
2. Exhibit ownership, agility, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset, taking initiative and driving results in a fast-paced market.
3. Experience conducting market research, interviewing customers, and testing new product concepts.
4. Craft and deliver compelling product value propositions, narratives, and storytelling that resonate with diverse audiences.
5. Ability to interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients.
