Senior Construction Professional
Delivering high-value projects requires a strategic approach to financial and contractual management. As a key team member, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure each scheme is executed efficiently and profitably.
* Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects from tender stage to final account.
* Develop and review cost plans, valuations, variations, and project forecasts to inform informed decision-making.
* Lead the procurement process for subcontractors, evaluate tenders, and administer contracts to mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with project delivery teams to provide accurate cost reporting and financial guidance.
* Maintain open communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation to enhance project outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
Requirements: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within mechanical building services or M&E contracting. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and commercial management. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills. A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
