Cost Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cost and contract management services, working within a busy team to support the growth of the quantity surveying practice.
About the Role
The Cost Manager will be responsible for:
* Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with the contract and governance arrangements;
* Quality assurance and overall integrity of projects;
* Either managing own projects or assisting directors in the cost and contract management of projects;
* Pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties;
* Reporting on financial and construction milestones to directors;
* Staff mentoring.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying;
* 5 years' post-college experience working within a consultancy;
* Chartered or working towards Chartership status MSCSI / MRICS;
* Strong MS Office skills, Cubit and electronic measurement skills;
* Proven ability to meet deadlines;
* Proven experience delivering projects and managing multiple projects concurrently;
* Solid technical appreciation regarding construction documents/methodologies.
