This is a long-term opportunity within a well-established service, supporting children with complex developmental and disability-related needs and their families.You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary CDNT, delivering high-quality, family-centred assessment and intervention in line with the Progressing Disability Services (PDS) model. Strong professional support will be provided by both the service and Emerald Locums.*Key Responsibilities*Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with complex speech, language, communication, and feeding needsDeliver evidence-based, goal-focused therapy within a family-centred CDNT modelWork collaboratively with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work, and other MDT colleaguesSupport families through coaching, education, and collaborative goal settingMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with HSE and professional standardsParticipate in team meetings, service development initiatives, and ongoing CPDRequirementsCORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist (essential)Recognised degree in Speech & Language TherapyPaediatric and/or disability experience (CDNT experience desirable but not essential)Strong communication, organisation, and MDT collaboration skillsAbility to manage a defined caseload and work independently within a team settingFull driving licence and access to a car preferred (community-based role)BenefitsCompetitive pay: €40 – €50 per hour (approx. €70,000 – €80,000 per annum DOE)Long-term locum opportunity with service stabilitySupportive CDNT and MDT working environmentOngoing CPD and professional supportExcellent work-life balance*How to ApplyPlease send your CV along with a short cover note outlining yourpaediatric and/or disability experience*and availability.Emerald Locums is an equal opportunities recruiter and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified professionals.INDHPMeath
