General Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role, with the ability to ensure the functionality, security, performance, and usability of our applications. Experience testing SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow or Salesforce is highly preferred. This role requires expertise in creating and executing test plans and scripts, as well as familiarity with multiple software development methodologies to support high-quality software delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing applications.
* Perform functional, regression, data validation, security, performance, and usability testing to ensure product quality.
* Test web applications and SaaS platforms, with preference for ServiceNow and Salesforce environments.
* Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and project managers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
* Identify, document, and track defects in Jira or equivalent issue tracking tools and verify resolutions.
* Participate in Agile, Waterfall, and Spiral development lifecycles, supporting sprint planning, release cycles, and quality gates.
* Ensure compliance with quality assurance best practices, providing recommendations for process improvements where needed.
* Contribute to release readiness activities, including QA sign-off and post-release validation.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
* 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance role.
* Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test scripts.
* Familiarity with Agile methodology along with exposure to Waterfall and Spiral models.
* Ability to organize, self-manage, follow-through, coordinate, and prioritize
* Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Other Qualifications:
* Experience with SaaS platforms such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
* Hands-on experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
* Experience with Selenium or similar tool for scripting and test automation.
* Knowledge of SQL for database validation during testing.
* Familiarity with API testing and CI/CD pipeline integration.
* ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
