To support continued growth, they are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their accounts team. The firm provides a full suite of accountancy, tax, and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SME and international clients.Your ResponsibilitiesPreparing and reviewing financial statements across a range of industries.Delivering taxation and business advisory services to clients.Acting as a key point of contact for a client portfolio, providing timely and high-quality advice.Supporting Partners in managing assignments from planning through to completion.Assisting in the training and development of junior staff.Participating in ad-hoc projects as the firm continues to expand.The Candidate ProfileQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 3 years' practice experience in a small or medium-sized Irish firm.Strong background in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and general practice services.Experience managing a portfolio of clients, ideally SMEs and owner-managed businesses.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.Organised, commercially aware, and able to prioritise across multiple deadlines.Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff is an advantage.IT-savvy with strong MS Office skills and exposure to packages such as Relate, Xero, or Sage50.What's On OfferCompetitive salary package based on experience.Opportunity to work directly with clients across a wide variety of industries.CPD support, professional development, and study leave where required.Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.A chance to be part of a progressive, growth-focused practice with clear career development opportunities.All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.Patrick O'Rourke is a Professional Services Recruitment Specialist, experienced in placing candidates from entry to Partner level.
