Your new company Join a global leader in insurance and financial services, where innovation meets flexibility.The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.This company encourages their staff to work smart, balancing time between home and the office in a way that suits them, their team, and our customers.This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation that values expertise, collaboration, and professional growth.This is a newly created role due to a merger in the company, and you will join a Tax team of 5.Your new role As a Tax Accountant, you will report directly to the Head of Tax and play a key role in managing tax compliance and planning for group companies in Ireland.Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly corporation tax charges and quarterly group reporting packs.Managing tax returns and associated filings for multiple entities.Advising HR on personal tax implications and liaising with Revenue Commissioners and the group tax function.Supporting tax projects related to restructuring, international tax changes, and process automation.Preparing transfer pricing documentation and coordinating related projects.Handling VAT returns, income tax filings, PSWT and RCT payments, and tax accounting journals.Assisting with statutory financial statements and providing timely tax advice across the business.This is a varied and challenging role that offers exposure to complex tax matters within a multinational environment.What you'll need to succeed Qualified Tax Advisor (Essential).Minimum 5 years' experience in a tax role (Essential) Experience in a Big 4 firm or large multinational tax team is highly desirable.Must be located in Ireland currently with a valid visa.What you'll get in return Competitive salary
