Waystone leads the way in specialist services for the asset management industry.Partnering with institutional investors, investment funds and asset managers, Waystone builds, supports and protects investment structures and strategies worldwide.With over 20 years' experience and a comprehensive range of specialist services to its name, Waystone is now serving assets under management in excess of $2Tn.Waystone provides its clients with the guidance and tools to allow them to focus on managing their investment goals with confidence.In the role, the Manager is responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of an appropriate framework, systems and controls to ensure the effective identification, monitoring and management of the ManCo's operational risks.This is a 12 month Fixed Term ContractEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist the PCF-39B in fulfilling the Designated Person role as set out in the ManCo's consolidated Business Plan and Programme of ActivityOwnership of the error/incident process for the ManCo including logging and remediating each matter that is identified or brought to the attention of the ManCoEnsure there is appropriate oversight, control and challenge of the ManCo's delegates recorded by the ManCo's Delegate Risk Oversight teamEnsure that the services documented in SLAs with other Waystone Group entities are delivered to the ManCo to a satisfactory standard and frequencyOversee the ManCo's resilience plan and associated frameworkEnsure the ManCo's responsibilities set out in the various intragroup SLAs are fulfilledEnsure operational risk policies and procedures for the ManCo are reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure they remain current and appropriateEnsure the ManCo Board receives regular reporting for consideration and approvalSupport the Chief Operating Officer on key projects within the ManCoSupport the Chief Risk Officer to implement the ManCo's risk management frameworkMaintain good working relationships and good communication channels with other business units in the ManCoAttend and participate in due diligence meetingsKeep abreast of regulatory changesRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a high standard.
