Job Title: Senior Finance ManagerLocation: DublinWorking Model: 4 days in the officeAbrivia are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join our client, a leading international insurance organisation. This role reports directly to the Dublin-based CFO and works closely with the UK Finance Manager to ensure strong alignment across both offices.The successful candidate will lead financial forecasting and planning processes for the international business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives. This position also includes responsibility for mentoring a finance team, managing regulatory reporting, and supporting senior leadership with clear financial insights.Your Role:Lead the development and management of financial forecasting and planning processes, providing accurate and timely insights for decision-making.Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies to optimise performance, including bank reconciliations.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Solvency II returns and Central Bank of Ireland submissions.Prepare annual statutory financial statements and manage the external audit process.Establish strong internal controls and deliver clear variance analysis with recommendations to management.Partner with the UK Finance Manager to ensure consistency, knowledge transfer, and succession planning across offices.Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, supporting their development and maintaining high performance.Your Skills:Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).8+ years' post-qualification experience within insurance or reinsurance.Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and regulatory reporting.Experience with Solvency II quarterly and annual returns.Previous experience managing and developing teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver to deadlines.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at Applications are in strict confidence.
