Job Opportunity:
Department Manager is needed to lead a team in one of our stores, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer care and operational standards.
This role involves taking accountability for their department, maximising sales, and maintaining costs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the budgeted KPI plan and any subsequent forecasts.
The ideal candidate should have good communication, coaching and leadership skills, as well as customer focussed organisational and time management skills.
They should also possess commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge, problem solving & decision making skills, merchandising skills, people management skills and IT skills.
* Lead the team in a manner that delivers the agreed business strategy.
* Maximise sales through analysing sales data and department trading patterns.
* Ensure the department has the right choice and levels of product to drive sales.
