National Account Manager – Dublin (Hybrid)

National Account Manager
on behalf of our client, a leading business in the grocery sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional to play a key role in managing major grocery accounts, driving sales growth, and shaping strong long-term partnerships within the FMCG industry.
Salary: €55k - €65k, plus bonus & benefits
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with key grocery partners, delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets
* Analyse customer insights, market trends, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth
* Lead annual negotiations including JBPs, pricing, and promotional activity to maximise profitability and strengthen brand presence
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and sales teams to deliver aligned account plans
* Monitor account performance and provide regular reporting and insights to senior management
* Secure new business opportunities through NPD listings, distribution gains, and category expansion
* Manage and guide a 3rd party field sales team to ensure delivery of commercial and brand objectives
Requirements:
* Proven experience in FMCG account management, with a strong track record of delivering results
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
* Results-driven with creative problem-solving skills and commercial acumen
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Highly motivated, proactive, and curious, with a passion for driving business growth
