The role of the P-Tech Employer Engagement Manager is instrumental in fostering effective stakeholder partnerships and ensuring the successful implementation of programme learning activities, particularly in relation to industry partner involvement.
This includes, but is not limited to, the support and coordination of mentoring relationships, work placement initiatives, and the organisation of guest speakers and industry partner inputs into the P-Tech programme.
About Programme Learning Activities:
P-Tech is an innovative educational initiative that combines post-primary schooling with elements of higher education and workplace experiences to develop 21st-century skills for students in urban areas.
It operates through a three-way partnership between schools, higher/further education institutions, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to students and industry partners in the development of mentoring relationships and work placement initiatives.
2. Industry Partner Engagement: Coordinate and facilitate the involvement of industry partners in programme learning activities, including the organisation of guest speakers and project days.
3. Programme Implementation: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of programme learning activities, including monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
