Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with testing standards and best practices, at least one year’s experience as a systems tester (either QA or UAT), and be able to participate in and add value to project and team meetings.
Review system specifications and create test scripts based on the changes outlined.
Review/maintain user acceptance test scripts.
Identify data for testing.
Participate in user acceptance, integration and regression testing.
Run test scripts for web or mobile applications.
Analyse test results.
Use Azure DevOps for repository, reporting and tracking bugs, and providing updates on the status of defects.
Raise defects and track them until closed.
Liaise with the business analyst to analyse complex requirements.
Report issues to the test lead.
Support system deployment by completing smoke testing at go‑live.
Close liaison with the project team to raise/retest deployment issues.
Document system changes in user guides/rollout notes.
Provide training and support to end users.
Perform data cleansing tasks (ongoing, sporadic, project‑based).
Conduct quality checks and audits.
Develop and maintain processes.
Prepare ad‑hoc and monthly reporting and analysis.
