UX Researcher & Designer (Mid Level)

Madcraft is a fast-growing digital transformation and growth company headquartered in Dublin, with a significant and expanding presence across the United States and the UK. Founded in 2017, we partner with ambitious B2B organisations to deliver high-performance digital platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and ongoing growth programmes.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Mid Level UX Researcher & Designer to help shape intuitive, user-centred digital experiences. This role blends hands-on UX research, interaction design, and clear communication, with a strong emphasis on presenting insights and design rationale to stakeholders.

You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to understand user needs, translate insights into design solutions, and communicate findings in a compelling and accessible way.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their UX career who wants to grow their research and design skills while gaining confidence presenting to cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

UX Research

* Plan and conduct user research (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys, desk research)
* Synthesise qualitative and quantitative findings into clear insights
* Create research outputs such as personas, journey maps, and insight summaries
* Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders

UX & Interaction Design

* Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes (low to high fidelity in Figma)
* Translate research insights and business requirements into thoughtful design solutions
* Iterate designs based on user feedback, data, and stakeholder input
* Contribute to and follow established design systems and UX standards

Collaboration & Presentation

* Clearly explain design decisions and research insights to non-design audiences
* Prepare and deliver presentations, workshops, and reviews
* Collaborate closely with the development teams

Required Skills & Experience

* 2-4 years' experience in UX research, UX design, or a related role
* Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
* Experience conducting and analysing user research
* Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
* Confident presentation and communication skills
* Ability to clearly articulate insights, decisions, and recommendations
* A portfolio demonstrating UX research and design work

Nice to Have

* Experience facilitating workshops or co-design sessions
* Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles
* Basic understanding of analytics or data-informed design
* Experience working in agile or product-led teams
