Service Technician About Your New Employer Our client is a leading manufacturer company serving a range of sectors from Engineering to Construction.
About Your New Job Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on machinery and associated equipment.
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend machine life.
Install, commission, and test new machinery at customer sites.
Inspect, replace, and service components including hoses, valves, pumps, motors, and drive systems.
Complete service documentation and provide technical support and operating advice to customers.
What Skills You Need Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on experience in agricultural, construction, plant, or industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
Proven fault-finding and repair skills, able to diagnose issues and carry out mechanical repairs independently.
Technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drive systems, and ability to read diagrams/schematics.
Practical problem-solver with a proactive mindset & workshop experience.
Computer literate with basic electrical/control system knowledge and a full clean driving licence where required.
