We are seeking a creative and proactive Social, Digital PR, and Sponsorship Specialist to strengthen our brand reputation, manage and foster meaningful relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors and communities.
This is a key position within the Bord Gis Energy Marketing team where you'll be responsible for driving conversations, growing online communities, planning and executing digital PR campaigns and amplifying our sponsorship assets.
Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them - meaning location doesn't need to be a barrier.
You will however need to be flexible to work from our Dublin office 2-3 days each week.
What will you do?
Lead social-first digital PR campaigns to boost brand awareness and engagement.
Drive influencer and ambassador strategy, including recruitment, management, and content co-creation.
Deliver proactive media engagement and thought leadership across net zero products and services.
Monitor influencer performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Manage crisis communications and protect brand reputation.
Develop integrated campaigns combining influencer, sponsorship, and PR activities.
Track trends and competitor activity to inform creative strategies.
Oversee sponsorship activation plans, influencer strategy, and digital PR budgets.
Build strong relationships with rights holders and stakeholders to unlock activation opportunities.
Support commercial business cases for sponsorship proposals.
Provide communications support for key marketing campaigns.
Here's who we're looking for: Our ideal candidate will have experience working across PR, Social and digital channels to deliver impactful campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
Ideally you can bring the following: Significant proven experience - agency experience would be preferable in a social agency or PR agency.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to form, establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Commercially astute and comfortable owning KPI's and reporting on numbers.
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure as part of a dynamic team.
Ability and flexibility to work outside office hours as required by the nature of some events.
A Marketing, Communications or equivalent third-level qualification.
