The Role
The position reports into the Finance Manager and will work closely with several different stakeholders. The role is a high‑profile role within the business with direct exposure to senior management through reporting and discussions that directly impact the decisions of management. The successful candidate will play an important role in financial reporting, performance analysis, cashflow management, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Responsibilities
Cashflow and Business reporting
Prepare monthly reporting to senior management on cash inflows and outflows, including projections.
Ad hoc reporting as requested, for example reporting related to employee and other business expense analysis, and operating leverage to support senior management understanding and decision making.
Financial Reporting & Month‑End Close
Prepare monthly accounts including all journals required for the accounts of the Servicing Group and companies.
Perform budget vs actual analysis and rationale for deviations.
Review of the intercompany balances and ensuring they are netted off as appropriate monthly across all servicing and Fund entities.
Reconciliation and full tracking of all balances, including receivables and payables.
Book and track employee expenses and ensure timely settlement.
Support the preparation of financial statements for the Group and Companies in the servicing structure as appropriate.
Supporting the statutory audit at group and company level.
Assist in the design and implementation of controls and procedures.
Assist in the design of accounting policies.
Billing, Revenue and Fee management
Engaging with wider finance team, particularly AR to understand leasing activity and lease performance and work with the fund team to understand the investor base as it impacts AUM fees and other performance related fees the management company earns from the fund.
Issuing monthly invoices in line with the servicing agreements.
Calculating and issuing invoices related to recharging of costs around the structures.
Monitor and record receipts of fees/recharges due under all agreements.
The Person
Qualified Chartered Accountant experience working in industry or in practice, ideally in an aircraft leasing‑related role.
Experience of working through complex accounting and consolidation issues.
Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to write clear, concise reports on technical accounting and other matters.
Proactive attitude, problem solver.
Ability to function in a dynamic and changing environment.
Ability to work independently as required.
