Murphy Brothers, based in Portlaw Co Waterford, are seeking to hire a Driver/Yard Operative to work at their Agri and Hardware Store. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will engage in a range of duties and responsibilities to support the busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting customers in person and over the phone
* Processing sales transactions & managing point of sale systems
* Operating our computer based weighbridge system.
* Managing stock levels
* Providing product advise and solutions to suit customer needs
* Loading customer vehicles
* Supporting general yard duties as needed
* Supporting deliveries to customers
Requirements for the role:
* Knowledge of the Agricultural sector advantages but not essential
* Comfortable using computers - training will be provided on our systems
* Friendly, customer focused attitude
* Experience operating Forklifts/ Loading Shovels advantages but not essential
