Network Engineer & Cloud systems Implementation Specialist to lead the design and deployment of network infrastructure in a new office, while supporting leading the rollout of Microsoft, Windows 11, and Teams Phones for the whole organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong networking implementation and systems experience, and be comfortable working with vendors and internal teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
Network Design & Implementation
1. Design and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure including HP switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2. Configure site-to-site VPN connectivity using Checkpoint or similar technologies.
3. Set up and manage DHCP, DNS, and printer services.
4. Configure Domain controllers.
5. Ensure network performance, scalability, and security across multiple office locations.
6. Create Physical, Logical and Service Dependency maps.
Microsoft, Teams Phones & Windows 11 Deployment
7. Implementing and planning Microsoft services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
8. Implementing and planning Teams Phones solution with Teams rooms
9. Hardening, testing, and rollout of Windows 11 across the organisation.
10. Ensure compliance with organisational security policies and standards.
11. Document all aspects of configuration and security setup.
Required Skills & Experience:
12. Strong experience in network design and implementation, including HP switches and Checkpoint firewalls.
13. Proficiency in configuring VPNs, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networks.
14. Hands-on experience with Microsoft administration and deployment.
15. Familiarity with Windows 11 hardening and deployment strategies.
16. Experience with SCCM or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
17. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Qualifications, Networking & Security:
18. Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or equivalent, CompTIA Network+
CompTIA Security+
Microsoft Certifications required:
19. Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
