The Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth running of office operations.
Responsibilities to include:
Bookkeeping:
1. Documenting financial transaction details
2. Preparing and filing financial documents
3. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
4. Fact-checking accounting data
5. Reconciling company accounts
Administration:
6. Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and handling correspondence
7. Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical
8. Order and manage office supplies and equipment
9. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation
10. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
Skills & Experience that we need:
11. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity is essential
12. Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration
13. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
14. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Offer:
This is a fixed term 12-month contract hybrid role, based in Ennis Co. Clare, with base salary, depending on the candidate's experience, but is expected to be in the €30,K - €35,K range per annum (Pro-rata).
Hours of work are 8.45am – 5pm daily, based on working three days per week, one based in Ennis Co. Clare and two days' work from home.
