This is a generalist role ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience across accounts preparation, tax compliance, and audit. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience with a varied client base and enjoy strong support for their continued professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.Completion of tax compliance work including VAT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns.Involvement in statutory audits and audit support work.Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.Liaising with clients on day‑to‑day queries and providing proactive advice.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations.Supporting junior staff and assisting with their training where needed.Ad hoc tasks and assignments as required by the partners or senior team members.Key RequirementsACCA/ACA/CPA qualified or part‑qualified.2+ years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice.Strong grounding in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and some exposure to audit.Solid understanding of Irish tax legislation and accounting principles.Strong attention to detail, with good problem‑solving and organisational skills.Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
