TCP Homecare is a healthcare service provider, specialising in 'direct to patient services' which include the dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products, home care nursing services and sharps waste management, facilitating a unique turnkey solution for the delivery of hospital care in the patient's home.
Role:
The primary role of the Warehouse Operative is to conduct all warehouse day to day activities in accordance with procedures thus ensuring the customer/client service level agreements are managed effectively.
The role is 37.5 hours a week, between Monday to Friday with a lunch break of one hour daily.
This role will involve some van driving, so a full, clean driving license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all warehouse activities are completed to GDP standards
2. Order picking & processing deliveries outward; checking & receiving goods inwards
3. Tasked between picking wholesale orders and patient prescription orders
4. Ensure dispatch traceability of all products (batch number certification)
5. Responsible for the general cleaning & upkeep of stores and refrigerators
6. Liaise and effectively communicate with all relevant personnel associated with the customer/patient/client service.
7. Stock Counts - participate in cycle counts and short dated stock checks
8. Adhere to TCP's Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment
9. GDPR - always maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
10. Participate in all TCP training, ensuring regular review of training record on the company training management system TCP Academy
11. Assist in ensuring that the quality systems are implemented and maintained within TCP Homecare
12. Always represents self in a professional and ethical manner, complying with all applicable company policy and procedures.
13. Act as a backup driver in case of emergency deliveries or supplier collections or short-term cover for Van Representative.
Required Skills:
* Accuracy and attention to detail required with ability to work under pressure
* Good PC and WMS systems knowledge
* Hard working and enthusiastic
* A good team player, with reliability and flexibility key requirements
* Previous experience of working in a Good Distribution Practice (GDP) environment
* Willingness to learn, working side by side with a professional team
