We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by installing, maintaining, and modifying all production equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Install and modify production equipment;
* Continuously improve plant operations by reducing downtime and waste, and addressing all breakdowns;
* Assist in the validation of new and existing equipment;
* Deal with vendors and suppliers;
* Analyze customer complaints and internal quality issues;
* Train other maintenance engineers and new recruits as required;
* Participate in companywide continuous improvement initiatives;
* Maintain accurate records of engineering-related matters;
* Utilize IT systems effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A third-level qualification or national craft certificate;
* Additional specialized training and experience;
* Good knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems associated with high-volume manufacturing equipment;
* Relevant industrial experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment;
* Ability to apply a scientific approach to problem-solving;
* Excellent PC skills.
Benefits:
This is a 4-cycle shift pattern role, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You must be willing to work 2 x 12-hour days, followed by 2 x 12-hour nights, followed by 4 days off. A valid work permit, stamp 4, or EU passport is required to apply.
