Vickerstock are working in partnership with a well-established and values-driven food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality & Technical Manager on a maternity leave contract based in Co.
Offaly. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a progressive organisation known for its commitment to product quality, sustainability, and innovation within the food sector.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for the site Quality & Technical function, ensuring products consistently meet food safety, regulatory, customer and BRC standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain the Quality Management System including HACCP, BRC and customer standards Manage internal audits, plant inspections, compliance reporting and staff training Oversee product quality, food safety compliance and customer specifications Approve label copy and artwork in line with food legislation Manage customer complaints, trend analysis and corrective actions Lead R&D initiatives across branded and customer products Liaise with regulatory bodies and lead external audits and inspections Monitor plant and product performance, reporting key technical insights Manage environmental testing and compliance programmes Support Health & Safety initiatives across the site Supervise laboratory operations and provide technical support to production teams Maintain awareness of evolving food legislation and update the Quality Management System accordingly What We're Looking For Degree qualified in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline Experience within a senior Quality or Technical role in food manufacturing Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food legislation Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment Get in touch: Sound like the career move you've been after and would like to hear more, pick up the phone to Anna now on T, or send an updated CV - in Word format - via the link on the page (or email).
