Job Title: Project - Quality Manager
Location: 50% in Central and 50% at Project Site

Job Overview:
Cental Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead quality assurance efforts on a large-scale project within the data centre and high-voltage sectors. This fixed-term contract requires ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, complying with industry regulations including ISO 9001 and EN 1090. Responsibilities include overseeing QA activities such as quality planning, audits, document control, and customer engagement.
Individuals with experience in construction and data centre industries, where quality and compliance are critical, are particularly suited for this role.
There is potential for this position to transition to a permanent role upon successful project completion and depending on performance and future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Assurance Leadership: Develop and manage the QA program, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and EN 1090; act as the main QA contact; collaborate with project teams and clients.
* Audit Management: Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and prepare for third-party assessments; monitor compliance across all project phases.
* Documentation & Reporting: Manage quality documentation, including ITPs and NCRs; utilize systems like Autodesk Construction Cloud; provide quality reports.
* Customer Liaison: Coordinate with clients to meet quality expectations; participate in meetings and reviews.
* Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate quality risks; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency; promote Lean principles.
* Team Leadership & Training: Lead QA team; conduct training for staff and subcontractors.
Key Requirements:
* Education & Certifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or related; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; EN 1090 certification or experience; Six Sigma or Lean advantageous.
* Experience: At least 5 years in QA management, preferably in data centres, high-voltage, or construction; experience with large projects and certifications; stakeholder engagement experience.
* Skills & Competencies: Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 1090; leadership; organizational; analytical; proficiency in QA software.
* Personal Attributes: Customer-focused; detail-oriented; problem-solver; adaptable.
