The Opportunity
JDM Products is investing heavily in its
Outdoor Living and Outdoor Cooking division
, covering categories such as BBQs, griddles, outdoor appliances, and lifestyle products. We are now seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to help scale this fast-growth category in Ireland.
This role is ideal for someone who understands seasonal trading, in-store execution, demonstrations, and how to build brands in a highly competitive outdoor category.
Key Responsibilities
●
Drive sales and distribution growth across outdoor living and cooking brands
●
Develop new retail opportunities while expanding existing accounts
●
Manage product listings, seasonal range planning, and promotional calendars
●
Work closely with retailers on merchandising, activation, and sell-through
●
Support product launches, in-store demos, and key trading periods
●
Build account plans, forecasts, and commercial proposals
●
Collaborate with internal marketing, logistics, and operations teams
●
Act as a brand ambassador in the market and at trade events
What We're Looking For
●
3-5 years' experience
in Business Development within
Outdoor Living, Outdoor Cooking, BBQ, or related categories
●
Strong understanding of the Irish retail landscape
●
Proven ability to develop new business and scale categories
●
Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship skills
●
Comfortable in both field-based and office-based environments
●
Full, valid Irish driving licence - essential
●
High-level English proficiency - essential
